Prepositions of time (in, on, at)

Em qualquer frase que faça referência a tempo, usamos prepositions of time. As mais comuns são: in, on, at. Como saber em que momento utilizar cada uma delas?
exemplos:
Jim wakes up at 6:30 a.m. every day.
Kate visits her parents on Saturdays. (lembre-se que nome de mês e semana sempre maiúscula)
Mary was born in 1990.
O USO DESSAS PREPOSIÇÕES.
At é usada para:
· horários (ex.: at 7:00 p.m.)
· outros períodos específicos do dia (ex.: at night, at breakfast, at that moment).
On é usada para:
· dias do mês (ex. : on 8 of March; on March, 8th);
· datas comemorativas (ex.: on Valentine’s Day);
· períodos do dia adjetivados (ex.: on a sunny morning).
In é usada para:
· anos (ex.: in 2004);
· meses, sem o dia: (ex.: in April);
· estações do ano: (ex.: in winter);
· séculos (ex.: in the 21th century);
· períodos não específicos (ex.: in the future);
· períodos do dia (ex.: in the afternoon).
